And the winner is…

Wow! If I’d had any idea that the response to this giveaway was going to be so positive, I would have purchased a book for everyone.

But then I’d be broke.*

And my husband would close down this blog.

But you’d have your cookbooks so it wouldn’t matter.

Ahem. The winner of the 125th Anniversary cookbook is…

Ouiz!
Congratulations, Ouiz! Please email me your address so that I can get your book shipped off to you.

AMDG,

*Don’t tell my husband, but I do have another giveaway coming up soon! Meanwhile, if you are absolutely certain that you cannot live without this cookbook, email me and I’ll get you a copy. $20.00 would cover the costs.

You know…since I am a poor little girlie whose mother never taught her to cook…

…but I have a LOVELY husband who enjoys cooking tremendously…

…and I have a major soft spot for good ol' American food…

…even though my only time on North Dakotan soil was on a Greyhound stop…

…(though I admit I admired the hugeness of the big flat prairie, even for those twenty minutes)…

…I might just need to ask you to get one of those cookbooks. Do you have any idea how long they're available for?

(I need some time to sweet-talk my dear St. Joseph of a husband.)

Margaret, I forwarded your blog entry to my sister, and she says she sat right next to you in the crying room at church that day! Small world, huh? 🙂

Oh man, I was so sure I would win, what with the cool word verification.

    Congrats Ouiz!
