There are still some piles of books that I’ve yet to attend to (they’re hidden under the teacher’s table because I am just that prideful) but for the most part…c’est fini!
(That’s French for “It is finished.”)

The task got a little bit tedious at times but I offered it up for our sweet Charlotte. Pray for her and that sweet baby girl!
Also, would you like a tour of our classroom next week? I thought I could do a Q & A-type post, assuming that I’m a good little homeschooler and get the lessons done before I blog.
[grin]
Still, getting that room cleaned gives me energy! Heck, at this point I’m ready to promise you fifty posts!
My husband boss might disagree, though.

Thanks so much Mags!!
Hey, isn't it fun just to keep walking into the room and looking at it?
You did a great job!! It looks wonderful, love the chairs!

Can I hire you to do mine?? Please??
It looks great. I want to hang out in your school room cuz it looks peaceful.

Amazing!! Can you come and do mine now? 😉
I love that you make the most out of the room you have. I need to figure out how to do the same.

Well done good and faithful servant! We just cleaned out our school cabinets and my office in prep for starting next week. I was encouraged by the before post. Someone else is messy too

Nice work! I'd love to go to school in your schoolroom!! I would thoroughly enjoy a guided tour next week…after I'm done with our school day, of course 🙂
Sara says
I knew you could do it! But that was faster than I expected!
Tracy says
Impeccable! You deserve a standing ovation!

That is a great picture! You need to print it out and hang it up to look at throughout the year..you know, when it gets used…I love an empty school room. I think "Do they really need to come in here? It looks so nice"….
Have a great school year! We are going with Seton this year. I think of you. 😉

Just noticed you linked to one of my posts in the sidebar. Thanks!
What a transformation you worked. That will be a very pleasant room to learn in. Growing up our home schooling "school room" was a little spot off my parents' bedroom that was more of a closet. One year wasps ate through the wall from the outside and invaded. Try focusing on latin then. Of course, being home schoolers, we were as likely to be doing our math upside down on the couch in the living room as at our proper desks :).
