So! You’ve come here to find out more about my Minnesotan family, have you?
You mean to tell me that nearly ten years’ worth of blog posts aren’t enough? (Such navel gazing on my part. Such hubris to think that you even care!)
Well, okay then. Here I go. We are a happy, half-homeschooling/half-private-schooling family of nine. I find that few things in life can’t be fixed by a good strong cup of coffee and/or the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
What more do you really need to know?
Oh, alright. I’m wife to the cutest patent lawyer this side of the Mississippi and mom to eleven great kids, four of whom are in heaven. We like to laugh. We tout the joys of Catholic living. We eat a lot of ice cream.
My children go by pseudonyms on this blog, by the way, as per my husband’s pointed requested. They are:
“Joe” (18)
“Jem” (16)
“Cate” (15)
“Felicity” (13)
“Angela” (11)
“George” (6)
“Francis” (3)
You may also see various references to our four sweet little ones gone before us. They are:
Baby Rose (lost to miscarriage on 1/04/06)
Baby Francis (lost to miscarriage on 1/24/07)
Baby Lucia (lost to miscarriage on 12/13/07)
Baby Thomas (lost to miscarriage on on 4/14/08)
That’s about it, I think! (Apart from the ten year’s worth of blog posts, that is.)
If you have any questions you are welcome to email me: mom4life[at]comcast[dot]net.
And finally, if you’d like to send money, coffee and/or chocolate…well, that would be fine by me as well.
