Or am I?
Do you ever feel as if you have everything to say and nothing to say? That’s where I’m at today.
I would like to do a Christmas recap with some photos from the past few days. We spent Christmas Day in Central Minnesota visiting John’s family, and then we made our way gingerly up to North Dakota (passing car after car after truck after car in the ditch) to see mine.
Yes, the roads were yucky. Thank goodness for the gift of a husband who drives slowly and the fleet of eight–count ’em–eight guardian angels who are with us wherever we go. There was an accident on that highway a couple of days before Christmas–a father and his two sons were killed and yes, I was unnerved by this.
May they rest in peace.
Now we are back home again. All three girls managed to catch a nasty cold and today will be spent taking care of them and their sweet little needs. Separate Masses on the feast of the Holy Family! And so it goes.
Everything to say and yet…nothing. I’ll lighten up the tone in my recap post, I promise.

Margaret – that accident touched many. My husband worked with the father. May they indeed rest in peace and the families find peace in living without them.

Suzie, I’m so sorry!
I didn’t know the family but I couldn’t stop thinking about them. Clearly I still am…
Charlotte (Matilda) says
I hear ya! Our split Mass schedule today is courtesy of a stomach bug making its way through my poor kiddos! 🙁
Ruth says
I’m so very sad about the accident! I hope your gilrs feel better soon.

Margaret, I am right there with you
on the blogging front.. I took an unscheduled sick break and family time break… and now have so much/little to say!!!
Also with you (and Charlotte) on the separate masses today……
Praying for the family tragedy up there! So much to pray for, it seems.

Correction. I do not drive slowly. I’ve been on a first name basis with too many nice patrol officers to make that claim. I do drive slowly on ice. Especially after seeing 10+ vehicles in the ditch over a 2 mile stretch.

Margaret, have you been up in my hood? I would have met you at Caribou.
