[Inspired by this Gingerbread Man Art Project]
By Angela, age 6:
She does not like the blackbirds.
They try to eat her.
She just shoos them away.
By Felicity, age 8:
By Cate, age 10:
“I trademark that hat!” Cate is greatly averse to copying.
“You can’t trademark a Santa hat!” her siblings protested.
“Too late” Cate smiled. “I already did.”
And by Jem, (the token male), age 11:
Please note that his gingerbread man has a switchblade and a six-pack.
(“That’s an eight-pack,” Jem corrected.)
Happy Friday of the Third Week of Advent! Please note that I am blogging instead of…oh…getting all the shopping done.

Alright, the boy art just cracks me up! With only one girl amidst all the boy-ness over here, we don't get ART as often as she or I would like. One coloring page every month (or two or three) is enough for my boys. They just see things from a different perspective … fun to see it in your posts!

I love these pics. My oldest son would have done the same thing to the Ginger Bread man…..maybe even have added a gun. LOL

I laughed so hard when I saw the switchblade and the 8-pack that I made my husband come and look at the whole post.
Oh those are treasures, those pictures. 🙂 And the dialogue that goes along with it? Even more precious!
