[Vol. XVIII for Me]
The “Help! I’m-Trapped-in-the-CVBS-Nursery!” Edition
Having taken last summer off to—oh, I don’t know, have a baby or something—I am back in the Bible School daycare this year as a volunteer.
My son is happy with this choice, as it affords him ample opportunities to flirt with the teenage helpers.
I do my share of flirting too, especially with the owner of these big brown eyes.
This young man will have none of that.
We are nothing but helpful in the CVBS nursery. Is your infant hungry? We can take care of that!
Alright, I’m kidding. That’s her son.
~ Take 7 ~
That’s okay, though! They promised me I can sleep next week.
Visit Jen @ Conversion Diary to see all the Quick Takes from today, and have a wonderfully restful weekend.

Thank you. That made me laugh (especially the breastfeeding caption). I needed that!

This post gives me hope… hope that I might survive my week in the nursery during July. I have volunteered for our CVBS for many years doing all sorts of things (snacks are my favorite). I have always said I was willing to work anywhere, just not the nursery. It's a zoo in there 🙂 This year, though, I will have (gasp)three in the nursery and I just don't think I can in good conscience leave them there with those unsuspecting volunteers.
I, too, hope the strong coffee and good company get me through a long week. Thanks for the inspiring post!

Thank you (especially for making me snort coffee through my nose and) for a fabulous week. You are so creative and fun to be with. I'm so thankful for the friendships made, and the little blessings I met. The teen-aged girls were the best, weren't they?
