Where there is Love, there is Life

April 22, 2008 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Friends of the Heart, Gratitude, Minnesota Me, Miscarriage 4 Comments

“Friendship is a bridge between you and me. When you are sad and lonely, cross it. I’ll wait on the other side forever. But if you are afraid, I’ll cross it for you.

(Author Unknown)

Or, to quote John Lennon, I get by with a little help from my friends.

I love you, Jennie C.!

Thank you, thank you, thank you,
thank you.

With much love and many blessings,

I’m grieving for you here, and praying for you and your family. My husband and I are Christians (though not Catholic) and I’ve had 18 pregnancies, but only 7 living children. Life is precious, and the willingness to welcome pregnancy – no matter the outcome! – is a blessing from God. May He continue to comfort and heal you!

What a great friend indeed, to send flowers (not to discount all the prayers and other special gifts, but this just speaks to me). We had just moved and been settled about 5 mos. when I miscarried – we hadn’t had time to met many friends, yet. But, very close friends from NE sent us a dozen roses. It was just what my husband and I needed.
