On How to Survive, the YouTube Way

April 23, 2008 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Family Fun, Humor, Keeping It Real, Minnesota Me 16 Comments

Here in Minnesota we are two parts’ drama, two parts’ devotion and one part total goofiness. Therefore, for a little middle-of-the-week relief from life’s more serious side, I submit to you the following:

Happy Wednesday, everyone. : )

Ad Jesum per Mariam,

PS. My kids ask for this video again and again and yet again. What does this say about my family? (Don’t answer that.)

PPS. Even worse, I let them watch it. (Don’t answer that one, either.)

My husband and I love to check out stuff on YOU TUBE with our children … things that can give them a little glimpse into the “olden days’ 😉

That is exactly how I felt this morning when I thought I would be on top of things (after catching up from being gone for two weeks) and make a dragon cake for St. George Day and realized that I had no eggs – I cooked up all the eggs for last night’s dinner. Boom!

I laughed. I love laughing though so it doesn’t take much. That says a lot about me!

ha ha ha! Didn’t one of Suzanne’s little boys want a disco ball for his birthday…it’s been a long, cold winter up north. 🙂

We’ve been watching Classic Sesame Street, Muppets, and Electric Company while I brush hair at night (it makes it a lot more tolerable for everyone involved). My girls’ favorite is the Mahna Mahna song.
