VBS-Day Plus 2

June 27, 2007 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Family Fun, Minnesota Me, Real Learning, Special Events 7 Comments

Felicity (4 & 5 year-olds)

My teacher is nice. My favorite thing is eating! Ice cream and those things that I don’t remember…I think they were cinnamon rolls. Mine was yellow. And they always give us water!

Cate (kindergarteners)

I have learned about Mary who appeared to Zoë and Zoë’s name became Catherine. And tomorrow’s my last day, which makes me feel sad.

Jem (2nd graders)

CVBS is fun because we get recess and snacks like ice cream and popsicles. I have learned about being a soldier for Jesus and about St. Edward Campion, who died for the Faith. We get cool t-shirts and plus I like learning about Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

Joe (4th graders)

My room is named after Ss. Philip and James, the Apostles. I wrote a letter to Pope Benedict! We are having a blast at Vacation Bible School. Plus on the last day we get to have a happy meal. (Mom promised.)

Mrs. B (nursery volunteer)

I am more than happy to help out. The coffee is hot and the kids are cute. It’s a little exhausting at times but I feel really good knowing that zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz………….

Kids, make sure your mommy gets to bed early enough to take you back again and again because it looks like you are having a blast!

Could they be any cuter? No!

    And what happy commentary!

Mrs. B is pretty darn cute too!

So funny! What a wonderful Summer memory. My kids are already excited for next year. Our CVBS (homeschoolers) was only 2 weeks ago! Have fun tomorrow!

Great pictures! Our VBS is at the end of July. Guess who gets to be the Ranch Music Director? Ruby is definitely having puppies in a few weeks – they are Golden Retrievers (pure). You’re going to love them. When you get a chance, go to my blog and look at the new “quiz”. It’s right up your alley, unless you already took it!

Food, fun, and faith…what more could a kid want?
