Well, not too sick to take pictures, at least. 🙂 Hope you’re feeling better soon, Margaret, and that’s at least the second Magnificat that dog has chewed up. Bad dog.

Oooooh! I wish I could come and take care of you! On second thought, I’m not feeling too hot right now either. Lets just sleep in and let the kids fend for themselves, shall we? We can call it “training for self-sufficiency” or some such thing.

Sorry you’re down — it was inevitable, wasn’t it? Glad to see you’re still working on Red Hugh — we’re reading the last chapter tomorrow!

We’ve had a heck of an argument about which cartoon the girls were watching. Can you please put us out of our misery?

    Oh no!

I’m so sorry you’re sick! May God grant you a speedy recovery, and may your family “function well” in your “absence”!

WHAT BARBARA? You don’t recognize The Rocky and Bullwinkle show?????
That’s just crazy talk, I tell you!

Margaret, my house and kids looked like that almost all the way through Christmas break (and some days during the regular week, too). We were lucky not to get really sick this year (but that sure didn’t stop us from being REALLY lazy on some of these cold days).
So sorry you’re under the weather, looks like we’ll have to hunker down again this weekend! “Yay!” say the kids, “MORE PIZZA!”.
    Sigh.

Oh, yes my house always looks like Lord of the Flies when I’m sick. Moms just aren’t allowed to be sick. I hope you feel better soon. AND I hope a little helpful elf shows up to create order in your home before then :o)
    God Bless You!

OOOOO I love Rocky and Bullwinkle!
    Favorite Bullwinkle lines:
“I want to open a bank account.”
    “Just checking?”
    “No. Really!”

    “Duck!”
    jumping up to look, “Where?”

Margaret — hope you’re up today. If not, put that pup in her crate — the new Magnificat arrived yesterday!

Doesn’t it amaze you how we homeschoolers can all go down like dominoes? Where is it coming from??And isn’t mom always the last to get it? We take care of them, one after the other all week long and finish it off with a bang, huh?!
    Hope you’re on the mend!

Margaret, I hope you are feeling better. Must be that time of year…we’re on round 2 of strep at our house. Our house hasn’t started looking like this yet, because the strep bug, so far, is attacking Dad, not Mom.

I’ll pray for the health of your family and ask the same for mine.
