…in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Alice, where were you?!! Well, you were an honorary guest since the idea for this lovely tea was entirely yours.
It was a hit!
We started out with a Rosary. All five decades were led most admirably by the kids, with our intentions being joined to those brave Pro-Life marchers in DC (and elsewhere).
The kids were then asked to play for half an hour while the mommies prepared the tea.
There were one or two opportunists, of course.
And others who simply scowled when told “Not yet.”
Many of the attendees showed up in their finest of “Marian blue” attire.
And many, many others who more than blessed the event with their smile!
Whew! We did it! Have a blessed day!
Margaret, I love you! You are beautiful! What a tribute for our Blessed Mother and for the cause of life!
You remind me of the Blessed Mother because you are rising above sorrow and to model a beautiful, sublime Faith.
God bless you, dear Margaret!
Those photos are beautiful – what a lovely day.
What a sweet, joyful post! The photos are fabulous. How I wish we could have joined you.
And I completely agree with everything that Alice wrote (as always)!
Love you!
Your tea sounds and looks lovely Margaret.
So… what’s taped on the cupboards?? *smile*
Thank-you Margaret, for hosting such a lovely day. It was the highlight of our thankful prayers tonight. God bless, Tina
Thank you, Margaret, my dear. My kids were so excited to tell Daddy that they had a “Mary Tea” with all the wonderful friends today. I so enjoyed the day. We are so blessed to know you.
Love,
Cathie
