Four-year-old boys. You gotta love ’em.
They’re little boys at the same time they’re little men.
They still have their baby teeth.
They drive you nuts.
They have speech impediments that melt your heart. They “heed the hish,” not “feed the fish” and when they have a cold, they “toss a wot.”
Some people cough. My four-year-old tosses.
They say “Ree Rye” for Maria and “Tinnin” for Stephen. They ask for a “hip” of your coffee and your beer; they play all day and come for a “tuddle” at night.
They’re ready to learn and raring to go.
4-year-old boys.
I love them.

This is sweet. I love four-year-old boys too. Something about that age is just amazing.
On the speech impediments, my favorite right now (from my not quite four year old boy) is "breas-quiss," as in "I'm hungry and it's morning time, mama, will you make me breas-quiss?"

God bless him! My son had some adorable mispronunciations that he has all but outgrown at the ripe old age of 9. But one, 'baby hista' instead of baby sister, has remained as a term of affection. He never says it outside of our home, its like his little pet name.

Awwwww, those big brown eyes, melt my heart! I have a 4 year old GIRL that just had a "waterwomen" birthday and speaks the same language. Such blessings, aren't they? (She calls Katherine "Cassin") And she still thinks mama is the best thing in the whole world.

I have one those, too, and I'm just head over heels in love with him. 🙂

I had one that age that liked to "snuddle cuddle" (snuggle and cuddle)

He's adorable, and the speech makes it all the cuter.
