Prayers for Sarah (Squared)

Two dear ladies are expecting babies. One, named Sarah, is my bestest buddy in the world…

…and by “world”, I mean Alaska.

Sigh. I am not happy that she is in Alaska, but being a resigned & pious “embrace my crosses” type, I have forgiven her husband for moving her there.

The other dear lady is also named Sarah. What are the odds of that?!

(The odds are very good, actually. Sarah is an awesome name.)

I have never met Sarah “in real life” as they say, but sharing one’s heart & hopes & grimy floor gripes online is the next best thing to IRL and a good/consoling/thank you God! alternative to going for coffee.

Um. Where was I?

Oh yes! Sarah (the First) is expecting a wee girl. Sarah (the Second) is expecting twin boys. Both are due ANY DAY NOW, and for that reason I’m asking for your prayers. A prayer or two. A memorare. A decade. Whatever you can spare for these sweet, sweet women who no doubt are feeling a bit antsy & angsty & all things pre-delivery.

(Been there felt that VERY recently.)
