I’m being held captive by a stern (but sweet) one-month-old little man.
I’m loving it, don’t get me wrong.
It’s just not that conducive to my writing.
See? This is me & him & my beloved red sling. This is how we spend our days. This is why I haven’t been blogging—my knuckle, you see, has become his nuk.
Please know that I’m not staying away by choice—I love to talk, as you may have deduced, and there is much I’d love to talk about. Big news! Big big headlines! So many stories, so little time!
We’re talking…
- George’s Successful Foray into the Land of the Potty Trained
- Postpartum Weight Loss
- Postpartum Moods (Read: I’ve needed “happy” pills.)
- Marital Victories despite Sleepless Nights and Financial Stress
…and much, much more.
Stay tuned and please stay patient. I’m trying to find my writing sea legs, but right now they’re busy pacing the deck.
Keep pacing that deck, girl. How could you possibly spend your time better? We'll still be here when you find time to come back. You look radiant!
Big {{hugs}} No worries! Write when you're ready! We'll be here 🙂
He is so…. cute. Enjoy the time with him. We will be here when you
have a chance to write. Ann
((((hugs)))) from me too!!!! I'm happy you are enjoying time with your little man!! Life–real life is far more important than blogging. (although, we miss you terribly)
That first picture cracks me up. Oh how I miss those days…
((hugs))from me three!
Love your sling!
The little guy wearing it is cute too. One of these days I will get to meet him!
Sugar love, we know where you've been. Right there in that second picture that's oh, so beautiful. Like Sarah said, we'll still be here when you have time to wander back. We don't want that dear little brow to furrow unnecessarily (though he sure looks sweet when it does). xo
No worries! We are here when you are ready!
He is soooo precious!
Hugs and prayers!
so cute. love the gown pics myself below
Just post pics of that sweet babe. He is growing so fast already!
How Lovely! I haven't been on blogger in ages…usually checking email on my Nook in the evenings) so I didn't even know you were expecting again! Our George has yet to join the ranks of the potty trained (more my laziness then his) or the "weaned" just yet either : ) Many Blessings!
What a cutie pie! Congratulations!
God bless you, Margaret! He's so adorable–and looks so much like George, I think. We miss you, but completely understand!
Right there with you, mama. And boy is he a cutie-pie! 🙂
He's so cute! You are forgiven all. Though I am breathlessly awaiting more on George's potty training. I'm super jealous because I can't get Ben to go anywhere near the potty. Oh yes, I want to know how you managed it with a new baby and all.
If I had a baby, I'd spent time holding him/her and forget about the blogging.
I agree with Lena, I would not put that baby down – enjoy the busy days.
I didn't put #10 down for his first 3 months. I didn't even realize it until I *did* put him on the floor. Did I really carry this kid everywhere for the last 12 weeks?
Take care of you, good one you for seeking help with PPD so quickly.
Love those little snuggled, wrapped babies. Here's my postpartum weight loss secret: Lucky Charms. That's all I could manage to eat after N was born and the weight just fell off. ?
