Rude Little Rembrandt

July 5, 2012 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: George, Minnesota Me, Motherhood, Pregnancy 8 Comments

I was very proud of George’s drawing until he told me the name of it.

Big Big Momma

“This is ‘Big Big Momma!’” he said.

Isn’t that special?

I’m going back to the couch now.

Hey… he didn't name it Beached Whale! Hang in there Big Big Momma. I kind of like it. I reminds of my great grandmother who everybody called "Big Granny" even though she wasn't very big at all.

He probably meant big big as in special, wonderful, awesome, most significant person in my life.

    😉

Besides, you are not big. You are pregnant.

My daughter just kissed my cheek last night and said "I love that wrinkly face." This to go along with all the big pregnant belly comments. I'll be sitting right along with you… but in the sun, getting more wrinkled 🙂

Oh man, they DO that! We were walking the other day and my 5 year old said it was like Disney's Robin Hood. The stroller with the babies was like Prince John's carriage and I was the hippo. Pschtt.
