There is an appointed time for everything…

…except mowing.

Mowing is not mentioned in those lines from Ecclesiastes.

To my husband’s great relief.

“Honey,” I said gently, never ever one to nag my beloved. “George wandered off and now he’s lost. I think, perhaps, it’s time you mowed.”

“No,” he replied, without missing a beat. “In that case I’d better wait ‘til we find him.”

Hah! I love it! That's one of those moments I tell my husband that he's lucky he's cute!

haha!!! Your dh is pretty quick – I suppose he's learned to be 🙂

My ds mows the grass – sometimes 2-3 times a week. Either he is very meticulous in trying to keep up with the neighbors….or it's the cash (he gets pd for it)…or it's the fact that we have an old rider. Whatever the reason, it gets done a lot faster now.

    Lol!

But you need to keep the grass. How else can George go hunting for dragons? And tigers and borrowers and all the other amazing things out there.

It's so beautiful and green. Out here in San Diego, the grasses are already turning brown. And my own lawn needs watering already, in order to have any hope of staying even slightly green.

Obviously your hubby has as much wit as you – oh to be a fly on your walls!
