Camping in the ‘Hood

August 18, 2010 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Family Fun, Minnesota Me 4 Comments

Y0, guess what? I’m over at Faith & Family Live today, chillin’ with my homie Danielle and talkin’ ‘bout all things tent camping!

(Clearly there’s been some smoke inhalation, of the campfire kind.)

(Forgive me. I don’t get out all that much.)

Here’s the link: S’mores and the Great Outdoors

Do grab a marshmallow and stop on by! Let me know what you think of camping.

Your article was lovely… almost made me want to try tent camping myself! (humongous belly notwithstanding)
Maybe we'll have to trek up there one summer where the temps are more… sane and camp with y'all!!

    🙂

Excellent article Margaret! Glad that you were able to keep your classic Margaret wit/humor/honesty in this piece as much as we get to read it here on your regular blog. Nice work! Congrats on the feature at F&F!

Margaret, another hit! I am stoked for the weekend of Sept 10-12; that's going to be the first time in, ummmm, 11 years that I have been tent camping… Any suggestions for things to pack? Helpful hints for camping with a 10 yr old girl and 7, 2 and 1 year old boys?
