Irrational Fear #342

July 4, 2009 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Just Me, Minnesota Me, Special Events 10 Comments

Because we are going to be doing a lot of driving this weekend, my husband asked me to put air in the van’s tires.

Do you ever worry that those big black tires are going to just BLOW UP in your face?

Okay, I didn’t think so.

I’ll close with a photo for this holiday weekend—two of my favorite little firecrackers.

Firecrackers

Happy 4th!

    Yes, I have!

I once while in Junior High took my bike to put air in the tire. KABOOM! I was deaf for most of the day…yes, I do worry about those big black tires.

Yes. Yes, I worry about that, too. Which is why I always ask David to do it. If one of has to die, it should be him, right? 😉

    Happy Fourth, dear friend!

PS I would never, ever fill a tire with air. There's just no way I would survive!

Now that baby is NOT your newborn – where have you hidden Anthony? I keep looking at Cecilia who has just turned 6 months and is already trying to crawl and wondering this as well about her! As Beth from Beautiful Day asked; "why is it the last months and weeks of your pregnancy crawl by while the first months of the baby's life just flies away?"

Somehow it just doesn't seem fair – but I'll tell you – I am squeezing in every kiss and hug of her tiny little body that I can – which I can tell you are doing with little Anthony who, for all my teasing, is still so little and tiny! 😉
