If I do nothing else today…

January 4, 2010 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Health & Wellness, Just Me, Minnesota Me 13 Comments

…I will have spent 10 minutes on our new Wii Fit.

(My Mii is tubby. This annoys me.)

Love from your would-be calorie buster,

Hi Margaret, I hope you have more luck with yours! The first time I got on and took the "test" I was given the label morbidly obese. That was the last time I used my wii fit! It was lucky I didn't throw it against the wall!

You're doing better that we did. We got our Wii Fit last Christmas and only tried it out a couple of weeks ago! Here's praying that our "tubbiness" is extra motivating!!

I was going to post about our Wii Fit experience, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm a little tubby, too. I was thankful my Wii age was less than my current age (however that changes every time you re-eval). Besides, we both have good excuses. I tried the lower body 'light' workout (Biggest Loser) and while I really liked it, I did work up a little sweat … must have been the sweater and jeans I was wearing! NOT!!

Anyway, I am hoping this will help me get in better shape and I want to be serious about using 'it'.

Yeah, I have a tubby Mii too! Eric and I are changing our eating (and exercising!) habits this year, so I'm hoping for a better looking Mii by the end of the year.

I have a tubby Mii too! I was so embarrassed, and I don't let anyone look while I'm "assessed"!

But I'm hoping to actually USE Wii Fit this year (didn't do so well last year). I can't afford a gym, so why not!

I just have to get in the habit…I can get moving pretty well with the stepping!

Well, if you are tubby on Wii, then I'm a house.

Got one for Christmas. I'm hoping my son will show me how to use it before he goes back to college.

Good Luck – I'll be thinking about you as I exercise.

What she isn't telling you is that 9.5 minutes of that were playing Hula Hoop in an effort to beat her husband's high score. She succeeded, but her triumph was short lived. šŸ˜‰

Keep us posted on how it goes…I toy with the idea of getting it for our house, but need someone to go IT WORKS before I get motivated to buy (and ask the keeper of the budget for the OK).

I got one for my birthday last September, but the kids are the only ones who've been using it. Until this week… I've spent 30 minutes yesterday and today. Hoping to make it a habit so my mii will slim down a bit, too.
