Stuff and Fluff for a Thursday

February 1, 2007 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Minnesota Me, odds and ends 6 Comments

Because I feel compelled in my ever obsessive-compulsive way to put a post up every morning, I humbly submit the following:

First, a testament to my knowledge (every pun intended).

You know the Bible 100%!

Wow! You are awesome! You are a true Biblical scholar, not just a hearer but a personal reader! The books, the characters, the events, the verses – you know it all! You are fantastic!

To be honest, (and what would you expect from a true “personal reader” of the Bible), I totally guessed on the questions about Colossians and David’s great-grandmother.

And some of the questions were just plain obvious.

Take the quiz for yourself! Let us know how you do.

Second on my list of “Stuff and Fluff for a Thursday,” (and well deserving of that title), are these results:

You Are Peter Brady

You’re cute, energetic, and a loyal friend to many.
And while you may not have super model hair, you hold your own in grooviness.
What Brady Are You?

Sniff! Of course I know better than to believe such flattery. And from an Internet quiz on the Brady Bunch, to boot!

Hat tip: Maria

And finally, no clever little box with quiz results but rather, just a question:

In general, do you dirty a bowl when you eat ice cream?

Pssst: If the kids aren’t around, I don’t.

Hat tip: the Pluggers comic strip by Gary Brookins

Have a blessed day, everyone! Happy February!

Only by listening to a children’s tape that has a song in which all of the books of the Bible are sung in order (no fewer than 1200 times in a four month period) did I get that question right and yes, I had to sing the song to do it!

Ice cream bowl…absolutely! How else do you get away with whipped cream and hot fudge sauce?!

I am “Bobby Brainy” cute, but a brat, something to that effect…nice, not what I expected.

I got only 90%, I must not have guessed right on the ones you did!!

Ice cream: definetely out of the container when the kids are in bed and DH is not around!! And if it is chocolate!

Ice Cream – I make bowls, until I deem that another bowl would leave just “a little bit” left, and then it is straight out of the container!

Jennie C. – that way you can still add fudge and whipped cream straight to the container!

Yes. I dirty a bowl. We have a dishwasher! That’s what I always tell my dh when he’s putting a peanut buttery knife into the jelly so that he doesn’t dirty another butter knife.

I have been known to eat ice cream from the carton though if I know I’m finishing it off. It saves time!

Like I told Katherine, I’m Greg Brady. I don’t think so. I always thought of myself as more of a Laurie Partridge…
