Things seem to be…moving along quite nicely for this pregnancy. The baby has dropped, my joints are loosened to the point of clacking, and those ginormous ankles attached to my feet? They are nothing if not other-worldly.

All I can say is that I want that baby to arrive SOON. I know what it’s like to be nine months pregnant and short. People were always amazed that I could remain upright.

I guess May 24th. It is the feast of Mary help of Christians who is the patroness of Australia. I think it is a girl. I think the baby will weigh 8#7oz and be born at 5.30 in the morning.
I am sticking with May 31st (double feast day – Pentecost and the Visitation) and my anniversary – so I am a bit biased! Girl, 8 lbs 3 oz, early in the morning – oh about 6:30am. (If you go into labor late on May 30th – then I figure it has to be a girl – a fiercly determined girl to arrive on time on May 31st, because May 30th is the feast of St. Joan of Arc!) Yes, I will be praying…I hope showers and showers of Graces descend upon you!!

I just realized I forgot to say my daughter Brigette was born on the 24th. She was the easiest baby I have had. (don’t tell my other children that though). She was just so placid and easy going. Christopher was a lot like that too.
We are so excited for this event and can’t wait to hear the details. Here is my guess. It is a boy. He will be born on May 24th at 12:05pm weighing in at a hefty 8lbs 1oz.
