Still Sick

November 29, 2008 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Health & Wellness, Just Me, Minnesota Me 7 Comments

Are you sick of reading about it? : )

This thing is cycling through the family, its most recent victims being Joe & Jem. Poor kids, they were supposed to go hunting with John today and when Joe woke up in the middle of the night—his stomach in that telltale knot—he was devastated.

Normally I’d think it was nice to be a family today…if only I felt good enough to appreciate it. This bug can’t decide if it wants to fell The Momma or not. I feel queasy and have no appetite, but so far that is it.

Will the other shoe drop or not? Don’t worry; I will not keep you posted.

In other news, I stopped by Old Navy to pick up a pair of jeans yesterday. I am simply not ready for the maternity version with that big cloth panel across the front. I found a very cute pair in a very cute style that cost exactly the same number of U.S. dollars as their size.

And that’s all I have to say about that.

Hey, I love Old Navy maternity pants. I usually can’t wait to get into them. Even if I’m not even hardly into the second trimester. 🙂 If it makes you feel any better, I always gain a bunch with all my kiddos…we’ve chatted about that. The “smallest” amount I gained was with my second child. And that was 45 pounds. I hope every feels better soon!!!!

Six dollar jeans? That is impressive! 😉

Here’s praying you all get better soon. Seems like everybody is passing around a nasty bug (or having terrible sinus troubles–that’s how it is for us) right now.

Layla beat me!! That was my joke too. 🙂
I’m sorry about the bug – I know how hard it is to have one person sick right after the other. We have vitamin C and grapefruit seed extract as our centerpiece every night at dinner.

I’m so sorry, Margaret! There is nothing worse then a stomach virus except maybe food poisoning.
I would rather have ANYTHING else run through this house besides the barfs.
BTW, in your spare time I tagged you for a meme.
