It’s 3:00 a.m. and I can’t sleep.

Why is that?

I’ll tell you.

I’m giving a talk to a moms’ group today—the first ever such talk for me as far as I can remember—and I think this means I’m nervous.

Can you spare a prayer for me this morning?

And a prayer for them? : )

Ad majorem Dei gloriam,

Consider it done! You will do a wonderful job. I’m jealous of them. I would love to see you in person. 🙂 Let us know how it goes. What’s the talk on, if I may ask?

No wonder I got an e-mail from you in MY morning. Normally I don’t get e-mails until my afternoon. I couldn’t believe you were awake! Good luck and I’ll say a prayer. Let us know how it goes.

You are going to do a fabulous job and I agree with Jen. Lots of jealousy here for those lucky moms. I hope they know how blessed they are! Hey, since you don’t know what everyone here looks like, just imagine that we are coming to surprise you and give your talk to us!

Prayers for you and your nervous system.

OH, those ladies are VICIOUS, I tell you…they’ll eat you alive! I would be scared to DEATH if I had to face those vultures for a talk on marriage and family. Hahahahaha! The only reason I’m writing this now is because I know you’re speaking to them as I write. I wouldn’t want to freak you out worse than you already are. I couldn’t be there this morning because of coughing kids but I wish you luck (with your nervousness. I’m sure they’ll appreciate anything you have to say. They are just grateful to have insight and have some quiet time to talk to another mom!) and I’m sure I’ll get the report that you were a lovely speaker (you may even be invited to speak again!). Bless you for your time!

Sent up a prayer… though by the time I read this it’s likely you’re actual speaking time is over. 🙂 Those women have no idea how blessed they are! 🙂

I was watching the little ones downstairs while you were speaking to the moms at our church. It sounds like it was just great and they all really enjoyed it. Thank you so much for coming.

What kind of group was it? Moms from church? A moms club group? Or homeschooling group?
