Just a couple of items on this good Good Friday. One, and this is so awesome, I received an answer to my prayer this morning. That is to say, a “Yes!”
So if you said a prayer for the special intention for which I so fervently blegged, you are awesome, too, and I thank you with all my heart.
I mean it. It wasn’t looking pretty for a while there.
Second, the Good Friday liturgy that the boys & I attended this afternoon was powerful and moving. They do such an amazing job at our church. At one point my friend Tina’s daughter leaned over to me and whispered, “I don’t think that mommies should wear mascara on Good Friday.”
And mine was even “waterproof!”
