Taking off for the Great White North

January 24, 2008 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Felicity, Humor, Minnesota Me, My Girls 11 Comments

Subtitled: This could be Canada.

My daughters* are amused but baffled. Why is Mom laughing and running for her camera?** And who the heck are Bob and Doug?

I promise not to call them “hosers.”

*No, the sheepdog look is not “in” in Minnesota. Yes, I know that Felicity needs a haircut.

**And sadly, these kids are more than used to their mother laughing and running for a camera.

Thanks for the laugh. If only those warm California/Florida/southern people could see us!! We need an extra 4 feet in the pew just for our coats! We must look so funny!

I’m sorry, but I don’t get this Minnesota humor. Maybe I’m a hoser?
