Being a frugal (i.e. dirt poor) blogger…
I am always happy to review local restaurants in exchange for a gift card or three.
This is to the advantage of both my family and…um….me. My kids get snockered up on pizza & breadsticks…
And I get to satisfy my overwhelming need to be extroverted:
My poor husband.
All the guy wanted was eat his salad in peace.
So about this hidden gem of an Eagan DAVANNI’S…
Check out the before and after photos!
BEFORE STORE RENOVATION:
AND AFTER:
This is the main reason, I think, that I was invited to visit the store. It’s a local DAVANNI’S with a great new look: a bar, lots more seating, (my kids LOVED that big booth), and a very yummy Italian-American menu.

Jill the Manager (as opposed to Seymour the Florist) was super sweet & accommodating, and did not mind at ALL that my kids helped themselves to 36 cups of soda.
All I’m saying is that they burped.
A lot.
And then they hugged & kissed & thanked their momma…
…who in turn thanked Davanni’s for a very fun lunch.
Have you been to a DAVANNI’S in your area? If not, would you like to meet me at this one? 🙂

That picture of enjoyment Joe of that salad is worth a thousands words.

My husband and I LOVE Davanni’s! Their pizza is the best. We especially love their veggie pizza, but we ask them to hold the green peppers. Yum!

My daughter met her future husband when they both worked at Davannis. That was about 27 years ago! One of their sons worked at the Eagan Davannis during his January break from college.
