A Bold Move by My Daughter

November 12, 2015 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Family Fun, Just Me, My Girls 6 Comments

Alternately Titled: If she can do it, so can I!

(Only, maybe, not quite so short. )

When Cate suggested getting a haircut, I was all like “Yeah! Sure! You wanna do shoulder length with maybe bangs?”

Haircut for Cate (Before & After)

As it turns out, she had plans of her own, so off her hair goes (4 ponytails worth!) to Children with Hair Loss.

Isn’t that sweet and selfless?

As for her mom…

Mother-Daughter Cuts

…she kept her haircut on the conservative side.

I know, right?

How unlike me. 😉

Looks great! And what a loving gesture donating the hair is.

Adorable haircuts—Cate’s and yours! How generous of her, too, to donate her hair! My Olivia wants to do that … And so much fun to see Merri in your pictures! I’m glad you met with her. Isn’t she great?!

This is one of the nicest things to do – donate hair to be made into beautiful wigs for people who have lost theirs, for what ever reason. Fabulous!
