Because you’ve got better things to do than watch the season premiere of House…

October 3, 2011 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Minnesota Me, More You Tube Stuff, Special Events 9 Comments

I present to you “The Pinata Project.”

(Not to be confused with that Blair Witch movie or any such thing.)

(Although there is that one segment where I throw up off camera.)

(Not really.)

(I was adjusting my sweater.)

Do you remember the scene in the movie Signs where Merrill was watching TV in the closet? These videos remind me of that, only without the freaky alien.

“Vamanos, children! Vamanos!”

And obviously these home videos are really just that…though I did once want to make movies for a living. Any armchair cinematographers out there? Go ahead and direct me! (I’m too stubborn to listen, but you can try.)

My girls liked seeing your girls again. Fun to see you on camera…fun to hear daddy yelling everyone's name, sounds like our house!

Um…just curious. Did anyone get the "throwing up" reference?

AWWW I love the pinata! Especially the low voice of the father, "Back up, baaaccck uuuup"…LOL

I missed your reference to the 'throwing up' though. Not that I was looking for that specific thing ;-).

It was a very obscure reference, Elizabeth, to people getting sick when they watched The Blair Witch Project.

    Very obscure.

Haha, no, I didn't get the reference…love the VIKINGS jersey's, even though my MN-die-hard-MN-sports-fan husband has officially announced he is no longer a fan of the Vikings. (Yeah, right, whatever, we'll see.)

I loved the videos. Brings back great memories of many birthday's and many more pinata's. And I can only remember one kid getting konked in the head…not bad considering. Thanks for the memories!
