We are thrilled that they named their baby after one of our little girls, (hee), and since she’s directing you here for help with pronunciation…
I’m thinking it’s A’-me, (pronounced uh-me), as in French for “loved?”

Aimé(e) is "loved one".
Wouldn't Ami be pronounced "Ah-me", rather than "Uh-me"? Though I have a friend who pronounces it like Amy.
