You know it’s time to refill the holy water font when your little girl, pausing temporarily in her game of dress-up to pull the ponytail out of her hair, says, “I don’t need this pony anymore. I’ll just put it in the pony cage.”
And leaving her ponytail holder in the no longer “empty” font, she moves on.
Incidentally….ours has been empty so long….the kids don’t even stop and check it anymore and every time I pass it…I think “Gee, I need to fill that thing”. How is that for good Catholic parenting! Sigh….I’ll be in purgatory a long, long time!
