“I’m a big girl! Watch!”
This is why I like to pour the syrup.
And it’s okay, really. It was only a 32-oz container of that 100% pure maple stuff.
All for the Greater Glory of God,
Lots of Coffee, lots of kids. It's a peaceful life.

I’m Margaret in Minnesota, and this is my mom's-eye perspective of a kid-heavy life. I love the Lord; I take lots of photos; and I try to always tell it like it is, from sex to depression and everything in between! I hope you enjoy your time here. ♥

Kids and syrup are great. Especially when they kiss the baby when you’re not looking and you smell a mysterious syrup every time you pick her up 🙂

Ohh… I don’t know which is worse: cleaning up the mess or watching her pour out the supermarket equivalent of liquid gold…

Mine just lick it off the floor. At least that’s what they started doing when they spilled sugar all over the floor. Well, the two year old anyway. Molasses is always a fun cleanup, too. I don’t think they would like to lick that up, though.

We’ve moved to squeeze bottles for syrup (Wilton sells them) after this happened. Now, the kids can safely pour the syrup without TOO much mess. We feel very IHOPish here, too, since we now have strawberry syrup and home made chocolate syrup.

OUCH!!
Real maple syrup is treated like liquid gold around here…maybe because it costs the same.
One 12 oz bottle is TEN DOLLARS!
The only thing worse then seeing all that money ooze everywhere is cleaning it up. I hope Ellie helped 😀
