Homeward Bound

April 14, 2007 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Minnesota Me, Prayer 8 Comments

I remember Danielle once beginning a post with the words: Real Life Trumps the Virtual.

Well, I’m there.

A couple of the kids and I will be traveling north this weekend to see my family. At the top of the list of must-see family members is:

  • My niece Danielle who is home for good from Afghanistan (Thanks be to God)
  • And my niece Jackie (Danielle’s sister) who on Thursday went into pre-term labor at 20 weeks’ and tragically sent her first child—a beautiful baby boy—home to the Father.

Please keep these brave women in your prayers!

I’ll see you Monday.

I will pray for your safe trip, for comfort for Jackie & the whole family who mourn the precious little one, and praise that Danielle has arrived home safely. Please THANK HER for her service to our country & our world.

Safe travels and happy visits! Prayers for everyone! (Thank you for yours!)

I second the “Thank you!” to Danielle and the tears of sorrow for Jackie. Give them hugs from us.

Prayers of comfort to Jackie. My SIL is visiting this weekend…she’s off to Afganistan for a year.
