Oh, how we love them. These little ones are purely, plainly and unequivocally a gift from God. They are our blessing and a grace-filled, daily reminder that hey, it is not just all about us.
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God —
9 not because of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them (from today’s First Reading: St. Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians Chap. 2: 8-10).
