…except I’m skipping the cheese and just having the wine. ; )
This post is dedicated to Joseph, one of my very favorite readers, because he was so very sweet and polite in his latest comment: “Be patient doing post II. I sense that taking care of your family is vital and you can delay having post II.”
By “Post II” he’s referring to my series, “The VERY Hard Work of Lasting Change”, which I introduced and then ABANDONED! Because, well, life!
The “family is vital” that he referred to…
The family that fills my days and my nights and my life…
They are to “blame” for my staying away.
This kid, for example?
He’s a handful.
And this young lady?
When did she become such a sweet young lady? I mean, she’s always been sweet (more or less…within reason…) but lately our time together has been more “friends of the heart” than “mother and daughter” and oh, oh how I’ve waited for this.
(I want to bring her home and school her here.)
(Just between, you know, you and me.)
And this little gal is every bit my Angela.
(Angela is on the right.)
She is still my homeschooled gal and trust me, she keeps me on my toes!
This little army, too, has kept me very busy:
Angela calls them Herobrine Nuns in this picture, a reference (I guess) to her game of choice, Minecraft.
They look better, incidentally, with their eyes painted in.
(My very first peg doll exchange is tomorrow!)
(I’m so excited!)
(And have tendinitis from all that painting!)
So Joseph, (and anyone else who might be reading), this–and these people–are where I’ve been. Frankly, I liked my “One Blog Post a Day” challenge because like that I knew it was coming and I fit it into this blessedly busy life.
I’ll return to my series next week, sweet Joseph.
Will put it down on my planner and fit it in!
With love on this First Friday in February,
Margaret

“Lots of coffee” part your title. When first seen many years ago when you chased your kids with a broom, just needed to comment on it as to a change toward coffee. So, be forewarned. one of these days you will hear about it.
