HTML Question

May 28, 2013 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Blogging, Keeping It Real, Minnesota Me 2 Comments

The code on my blog is being incredibly wonky. Any time I do a link, I get something like this:

<span class=”wrc13″ onmouseout=”cancel = false; window.setTimeout(WRCHideContent, 1000); clearTimeout(showTimer);” onmouseover=” var self = this; showTimer = window.setTimeout(function(){WRCShowContent({‘rating’:{‘value’:94,’weight’:100},’flags’:{},’single’:true,’ttl’:7200,’expireTime’:’20130528105919′}, self.className)},600);” style=”height: 16px; padding-right: 16px; width: 16px;”></span>

It doesn’t affect the appearance, I don’t think, but every time I click away from the post–to go over to Flickr, for example, to get another picture–that “onmouseout” code spawns itself and the code begins to look like this:

<span class=”wrc13″ onmouseout=”cancel = false; window.setTimeout(WRCHideContent, 1000); clearTimeout(showTimer);” onmouseover=” var self = this; showTimer = window.setTimeout(function(){WRCShowContent({‘rating’:{‘value’:94,’weight’:100},’flags’:{},’single’:true,’ttl’:7200,’expireTime’:’20130528105919′}, self.className)},600);” style=”height: 16px; padding-right: 16px; width: 16px;”></span><span class=”wrc13″ onmouseout=”cancel = false; window.setTimeout(WRCHideContent, 1000); clearTimeout(showTimer);” onmouseover=” var self = this; showTimer = window.setTimeout(function(){WRCShowContent({‘rating’:{‘value’:94,’weight’:100},’flags’:{},’single’:true,’ttl’:7200,’expireTime’:’20130528105919′}, self.className)},600);” style=”height: 16px; padding-right: 16px; width: 16px;”></span>

Weirdness! That “onmouseover” stuff is in the roll-overs I’ve done, but why it’s turning up like this, I have no clue.

Any ideas what’s going on? I’ll pay you in prayer if you can help. 😉

    One thing I can think of off the top of my head is that you didn't close the rollover command last time you used it … Or that there is a fault with your flickr badge coding – there may be a missing /closetag there? I'm sorry, I wish I could help better.

    I just saw in your sidebar that your husband has started his own business! Congratulations and I wish you all the very best of success.

    […] You have no idea how annoyed I’ve been by all this wonky blog behavior. […]
