The Rollover Edition

Every so often I get bored with plain old blogging and decide to churn out a corny roll-over post. I did it when Angela acted up in the van and then again last Halloween.

I’m sorry. It’s just…what I do.

Rollover Number I: Oh my goodness, what is that? Run your mouse over the image and you will see.

Click Me

Rollover Number II: Why on earth, you ask, would I have done this to poor George?

Click Me

Because whatever Big Brother has…Little Brother wants.

(Remember–you have to roll your mouse over the image to see the changes.)

(And please don’t yell at me for what I did to little NiNi.)

(Do you not, um, think that he looks a bit like Curious George?)

    Oh.dear. preciousness.

I think it's too cute (he is either way…love that George!), but of course you realize he looks all grown up now. *sob*

That picture of them, long-haired, in the soft chair together is adorable. I honestly don't know who benefits more from such a tender brother-brother bond, but Blessed John Paul sure was right when he called a sibling the greatest gift you can give your child.

Hugs & blessings from over in Inver Grove!

You know, that's a tough one, Jessica. NiNi cried the first time we got his hair cut but oddly enough, he didn't put up a fuss for the clippers! He scowled a bit and looked concerned, but he let me finish.

Try again in a couple months. Sometimes they just need to get used to the situation.

Of course he is cute either way, but I am sad because I LOVED George's hair at its longer length. I wish I could get my just-turned-two yo's hair to look like that.

He looks very cute! I love the high and tight hair cut on the little ones. Both of my boys have that hair cut.

I do the same to Ben because he has a strong aversion to baths and water and having his hair washed. It only takes seconds to wipe a buzz cut scalp clean, much longer for a cute mop top.

Jessica, I'd add that it's not that my two year-old is any less resistant to the clippers, by the way. Dom has to hold him down for that too. Just that I can minimize the number of battles I fight in the pursuit of health and hygiene.

Your NiNi is adorable either way, though.
