Best Treadmill Song EVER

February 22, 2011 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Health & Wellness, Minnesota Me, odds and ends 6 Comments

This despite my being from the North.

Cate, in gazing upon this photo as I blogged it, remarked, “They are a very odd-looking bunch.”

Agreed.

Though granted, there were outfits *I* wore that could have rivaled them.

I disagree. "Turn Up The Radio" by Autograph gets (and keeps) me moving!

Your difference of opinion is most welcome! I'm always on the lookout for new songs to run to.

While we're on the subject of 80's Hair Bands, how about Guns N' Roses' Paradise City. That would get me movin my tush. šŸ˜‰ And for the 70's there's always Boston's Smokin

they actually look pretty "normal" compared to some of the "newer" artists…like the ones who sport raw meat dresses, etc.

OK, here are my picks (for whatever that's worth!)
Cheap Trick: Surrender or Dream Police…….
Billy Joel: Uptown Girl (just a fun one)….
I've gotta agree with Kelly about Guns N' Roses' Paradise City.
And from my favorite 80's Hair Band of all time, Bon Jovi: Runaway or Bad Medicine.
    Love ya! šŸ™‚

Thank you for the suggestions, everyone! Hadn't thought of Guns & Roses but yes, Paradise City! And ooh, how about Sweet Child of Mine?!

To market to market to download a CD, home again home again jiggity jig.

"Jiggity" being code for increased treadmill mileage, of course.
