Jem of the Day

September 24, 2009 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Jem, Minnesota Me, New Baby, Our Children's Gifts 10 Comments

I blinked and my baby’s now four months old.

How can this be?

Those Little Grins

Do you see that scratch under Anthony’s eye? Cate was bouncing him on her knees and one of her fingernails caught his cheek. Poor little fella! He forgave her like, almost instantly and she is still one of his favorite people.

(She is one of my favorite people, too. I don’t know what I’d do without my helpful big girl.)

Oh, and we still haven’t heard from the clinic with the results of last week’s blood draw. I’m going to phone them today and will add an update to this post when I find out. Until then, keep bouncing them babies on your knees! They grow up so fast.

*The Update (as Promised): I just talked to the doctor and Anthony’s test came back 100% negative. Hooray! Hooray! Let’s have a drink to celebrate!

Ah heck. It’s only 9:00 a.m.

Well, alright then. Who wants to join me for a happy hour around 5:00?

AMDG,

We used to joke that "it was 5:00 SOMEWHERE IN THE WORLD ALREADY" so go ahead and have a morning drink if you want! Mimosa anyone?

So glad the test came back negative!

    Sincerely,
    Donna

Anthony has the best happy grin!

Yay! I came back to see if there was an update; SO glad to hear it and I'm sure you are relieved. DH has dodged the Lyme bullet at least twice but his youngest brother has some joint pain related to a late diagnosis. Definitely good that you checked it out.

I'm joining you and Jamie at 5:00. I am groucharilla and my kids are steering clear of me.

I almost dread the reminder of how old your little man is as it reminds me of how old Ellie will be soon…It goes just.too.fast.

He suddenly looks like a different baby — what is it about that 3 or 4 month mark when they enter into a whole new stage of Cute?

And, SO happy to hear about the negative test results! Hooray!

    Margaret,
I just think he is THE most adorable baby boy I have ever seen. May Our Lord continue to bless your lovely family.
