Wanted: A Bigger Boppy

July 27, 2009 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Minnesota Me, New Baby 18 Comments

Tony is two months old now, and he’s gone from this:

A Boppy for New Baby

To this:

2 Months

He is literally spilling out of his boppy.

Don’t you just love those juicy leg rolls? Don’t you just want to squeeze them? (Anthony would prefer that you don’t, of course, though you can hold him all you want.)

He has his 2-month check-up today and I am anticipating a substantial weight gain on the part of my chubby bunny. What do you think this “little” fellow weighs? I have no idea, though clearly I’ve been giving him the good stuff.

[wink]

All for the Greater Glory of God,

He is soooooo adorable!!! I bet you can not get enough of him. My babies were all chunky and lovable like that (sigh..) As for the weight….12-13?? Maybe more. I babysit a 6 week old that weighs 11 pounds and she looks smaller than Anthony. Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!! Kelly

He is too cute! Love those rolls on babies-but Anthony wears them especially well! I am going to guess 15 pounds…can't wait to find out!

I'd say he's pushing 10 lbs! Oh, he's grown! Please make sure you update us on his weight!

Wow! You have been giving him the good stuff. I adore those rolls! My little guy is working hard but he isn't to the chubby thighs stage yet.

    Dear Margaret,
He is so chubby. No problem with weight gain there, you lucky mummy.
Our little Arwen is 6 months old and I am still concerned with her weight gain, she was going well but has seemed to lost some of the leg rolls and double chin.
Can I ask that you pray for her weight gain please.
    God Bless

Gae, I'll say a whole decade.

(I pray in decades these days. A decade here…a decade there…and sometimes I can even fit in two!)

Christine, I think he's at least 11 pounds, maybe 12, because that's how much more I weigh when I step on the scale while holding him.

I won't say what the scale reads ordinarily. 🙂

What a sweet little guy. I remember just using the center of the boppy when my girls got bigger … letting the legs come through the "U".

I miss the baby stage. Can almost smell that baby breath ((((SIGH))))

You know he's darling! Love the rolls, too. He must be pushing 12 pounds, but who cares: he looks so content and cute!! I'm so glad you are having fun with him! Keep the pics coming

Oh, Margaret, I've been here several times today, checking out that music curriculum…I did just finally order the Fall one, the ordinary time CD.

That picture is beautiful!! I love those kind of pictures where it shows how much they've grown in the same position! I'm guessing around 12 pounds too!
