Flowers for Mama

May 12, 2008 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Felicity, Minnesota Me 4 Comments

The neighbor girl was like, “Um, Mrs. B.? Is Felicity supposed to be crossing the street like that?”

Yes, I replied, she is. First of all, our neighbor grows far more of those beautiful yellow…er… flowers than we do. (Although, for the sake of real reporting, I have to admit that our “puppy patches” outnumber his by ten to zero. What’s a ‘puppy patch,’ you say? Got a dog? Got a green lawn? Just wondering.)

Second of all, I was testing my new zoom lens. I love it.

What do you think? Felicity was five miles away when I took this photo. Pretty powerful, eh?

Only kidding. Still, I like the photo.

I love dandelion pictures!! I love dandelions…when they are yellow, what other flower can kids pick and not get into trouble? They are fun, ever do the butter thing on your arm?

OOps, yes, I love the picture, especially since the flowers were for you!

Cute picture! You gotta love the zoom. I got a zoom lens for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. I just love it!

    That is a BEAUTIFUL picture.
And I still remember my mother watching in horror as I let my three year old son cross a COMPLETELY DESERTED DEAD END STREET by himself. he was so proud of himself and she was SO horrified.
