To bathe or not to Bathe

April 20, 2007 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Hearth & Home, Humor, Minnesota Me 5 Comments

A long, luxurious bubble bath?

Or a short and boring shower?

Which do you choose?

The former, right?

Well, what do you do when your 2-year-old walks off with the drain stop?

You realize how very spoiled you are.

And what, then, do you do when—after 3 days of longing for your bubbles and your bath—your 7-year-old finds the drain stop in a dresser drawer?

Why, you turn around and spoil him as well.

Stephen gets ice cream tonight!

Right after Momma gets her bath.

I always take the short boring shower listening for my 10month old, and frequently asking the others “Is Angela ok?” “What is Clare doing?” (my 2 year old) But I do long for that long, luxurious bubble bath…I would have spoiled the finder with a finders fee also!

I opt for a long, hot shower.

Bless that child! There is nothing better than a nice long bath – or even a nice short one. I’m feeling relaxed just thinking about taking one:-)

I actually prefer a long shower to a bubble bath! My girls also take showers instead of baths. They love it!
