What a Difference a Day Makes!

March 11, 2007 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Family Fun, Minnesota Me 20 Comments

Here is a photo of my winter world last Sunday.

And here is a photo of my winter world the following day.

Go Northwest Airlines! Go Hawaii!

Did you know I’d been away? : )

Ed. note: My husband, being a prudent man, asked me to wait to blog about our trip until we returned. So here we go! Are you ready to re-live our week on Oahu? Highlights include the Polynesian Cultural Center, Pearl Harbor, Snorkeling, Scuba diving, and throwing up all over the ocean. I repeat, are you ready?

I’m ready! I want to hear all the details so I can soak in the sun and sand with you virtually. I LOVE the beach and I haven’t been to one in several years. šŸ™

How exciting! I was fortunate enough to get to visit Oahu when I was in junior high with my family, and we visited some of the same places. I am curious to see how things have changed (or are the same!).

what fun! I’ve never been to Hawaii, but one of my sons is Damien, after Fr. Damien of Molokai, so I always feel a spiritual connection with the place. Thanks for the sunshine picture- I’m feeling more cheerful already.

I can’t even stand to read this kind of thing. I can’t believe you went to Hawaii when we were so happy to get out for a walk yesterday in the balmy 50 degree weather. ARRRGGGGHHH!!!!
Oh well, I’m glad at least SOME people get away from this winter heck-hole sometimes…even if it is never me.
