Well now, that didn’t take long at all!

We just put out a bird feeder yesterday evening, and already this morning we’ve seen:

• chickadees
• finches
• robins
• cardinals (two pairs at the same time!) and
• a woodpecker

Keep in mind that, having not been a big bird feeder family prior to this moment, we are…well, we’re just giddy. “It’s a stampede!” John Michael exclaimed.

Now to work on those collective nouns.
