Maid Marian
Beautiful and strong-willed, Lady Marian Fitzwalter is the lady love of the dashing outlaw, Robin Hood. She is skilled with a bow, but can match the manners of any lady of the Queen. She waits earnestly for the day when King Richard will return and wed her to Robin.
Greetings from one Maid Marian to another….:-)
LOL, and she is also quite pretty too!
I was Anne Shirley! : ) The funny thing is that we are reading it aloud right now!
Moi, aussi! Where is my bow and arrow anyway?
ha ha! This was fun! I was Elizabeth Bennet, from Pride and Predjudice, one of my favorites.
What fun! I was Wendy Darling! Very appropriate, as Barrie’s Peter Pan is one of my children’s favorite read-alouds.
Oh, I would have loved to have been Maid Marian! (I was Emma Woodhouse.)
My Lady Marian,
I’m betting Fancy Nancy was not included among Classic Heroines…just give her a few more years, right?! By the way, are you the Margaret in the dedication?! The book tip came in handy when an uncle asked for gift ideas–Thanks! I’ll bet the author and illustrator were also grateful for the boost on the Best Sellers list!!
I’m Anne Shirley…
Look at your page, though…Marian’s head is tipped just like yours in your picture next to it. Too cute.
I always knew you were royalty!
cute picture. i was jane e.
I edged out Maid Marian in favor of Jane E. by one point. Don’t get me wrong; I loved the book and read it half a dozen times, but I guess I wanted to be a little less, well, plain. I guess my mikddle name was well chosen!
Oh Margaret… you and Maid Marian have the same smile going on. How cute!!!
I was Elizabeth Bennet. I just love reading here Margaret. Someday maybe we could have MN mom’s get together. I would love to meet you IRL.
Know that I am coninuing to intercede in prayer for you.
(((hugs)))
I was Maid Marian too!
