Back in the (Blogging) Saddle Again

Back in the Saddle

Alrighty, then, I’m just gonna do it.

(“It” being write a blog post.)

My posting average is very low these days–only two, maybe three posts a month—but I would like very much to get back in the habit (i.e. saddle) of writing—so I am going to try the ol’ One-Post-a-Day-for-30-Days.

Encourage me, please!

Or don’t and merely think that you did.

I have lots I want to talk about, including some thoughts on letting go of my second son (because he hates it when I hang onto him) when he leaves for Boot Camp in less than a month.  Good thing I still have five sweet smoochables at home, right?! Because otherwise this just might be unbearable.

Also, I posted on Facebook about a new health challenge—that of losing some very stubborn weight. I call it my “50 Fifteen” and I’ll tell you, I’m really beginning to wonder if this perimenopausal bod has it in her to lose the belly fat once and for all.

Stay tuned…I’m sure I’ll have an answer for you by the time I’m 80.

Also? I’m down four pounds using a brand new system! And the dog’s down five so I guess he wins the kitty this week. (Poor kitty. I hope she’s a fan of Golden Retrievers.)

Finally, I have three—count ’em, THREE—Netflix reviews that are overdue. The good folks at corporate have been very understanding about my needing a break after my momma died, but now it’s time to resume my #StreamTeam duties.

So here we go and please stop laughing!

I mean it. I want to write again.

So good to see you back. I know this has been a challenging season. Please share your new weightloss program. I’m in need of some true motivation. Blessings and prayers that you will write often!

Lovely to see you blogging again! Good luck with keeping up with it. My poor blog is so neglected it’s like a ghost town.

I’ll encourage you! I love to read your posts. And I’m going to get back in the saddle fitness-wise starting July 1. Time to get serious after an amazing trip to visit my sister in Belgium.
