Yesterday I went with my two bookend boys on a private tour of Target Field.
That’s our new stadium for the Minnesota Twins.
Just so you know.
I didn’t take a ton of photos because most of the time, my arms were full of two-year-old. Don’t let the above photo fool you—that is like one of the only times he let his brother hold him.
And here’s his mother foolishly wearing heels.
Anyway, it was very cool! We were there with Joe’s class for an end-of-the-year outing (they do class parties every month) and this tour was donated by one of the boy’s parents, who had won it at an auction. Very nice and again, very cool.
My favorite parts of the tour were the lockers rooms (Concrete floors and metal lockers? Not! Think wall-to-wall carpet and plush leather arm chairs) and the lower-level “keg room.” Here’s a bit of trivia for all you baseball fans: How much beer do you think gets consumed during a single baseball game?
Venture a guess before you check. The answer’s in the com-box!

It's a 39,000-seat stadium, Ann. That helps with the perspective a bit. 🙂
