Easter Monday Musings

April 9, 2012 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Anecdotal, Minnesota Me, Unemployment 8 Comments

Easter Sunday dawned bright and early, heavy emphasis on the early part.

Tell me that you assisted that bunny too.

Tell me that you stayed up way too late.

It was all good, though, and the clear blue skies were so very welcome. (We had rain on Holy Saturday.) I took a fair share of pictures throughout the day and may, eventually, get around to posting some…here or there or on Facebook or otherwise.

(So many choices. So little time.)

However. We are busy busy busy today getting ready for tonight’s AHG Board of Review. Felicity is advancing from Tenderheart to Explorer (so exciting!) but that means dotting lots of i’s and crossing lots of t’s and ironing lots of skirts & vests.

(Okay, so she has one skirt and one vest. Still, a girl should look nice at her board of review.)

Also, if you could spare a prayer for my main squeeze–just one, maybe two if you’re feeling generous–he’s applying for a local (LOCAL!) job and it looks–fingers crossed–to be a good one. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

I really do mean that.

See? Look at the big smile I’m wearing!

This is a photo that George took yesterday. It is a George’s eye view of his world and his mom, and you know what? I really don’t think that the kid did half bad.

Plus he cut off my head which is how I feel sometimes.

A headless mom.

Discombobulated but happy.

(It was Easter Sunday, after all. How could I possibly not be happy?)

(I hope that you had a happy day too. )

I love the George-eye view of his mama! What a beautiful smile she has and I love that that's what he sees! Prayers for your hubby… fingers crossed and hands folded!

Those jeans are looking baggy too–great job!

Extra prayers for hubby, can't wait to hear how it turns out.

You do have a great smile.

Who is that little person on that chair in the back ground if George took the pic??

    Crossing fingers for your hubby!

St. Joseph, keep them and guide them in this job process! It's so stressful. We've been there and it's not fun but God will guide you!
