Snowbound Birthday Boy

February 21, 2011 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Minnesohta, Minnesota Me, Special Events 13 Comments

On Saturday evening, I set a bottle of Moscato onto the clean, wooden deck to chill.

Presidents' Day Blizzard

On Sunday evening, I remembered it.

Clearly, it’s still winter!

So…no going out for dinner yesterday in honor of my husband’s birthday, which is TODAY. He’s 40! Happy birthday, Honey!

(Good thing we went out on Friday night to celebrate.)

40!

(And a good thing, too, that we’re going out again today.)

(Hey, it’s his 40th! I will take every excuse to enjoy a good meal out.)

Happy Presidents’ Day! And happy birthday to everyone who has a birthday today! If you need me, I’ll be over at Facebook posting baby pictures of my husband.

And if, after that, you don’t hear from me again…

It’s ‘cause he killed me.

The more friends the merrier, Katy! Though with Lent coming up, I will be pulling back a bit. 🙂

    Happy Birthday to Mr. Minnesota!
Our eldest is on his way back up to the TC right now (he had the day off today so he spent the weekend here at home :). Pray for safe traveling. We have no snow on the ground here in Iowa-what are you people thinking up north there? 🙂
