Overheard

November 29, 2010 by Minnesota Mom Filed Under: Felicity, Minnesota Me, My Girls 6 Comments

[as I lurked in the kitchen eating this by the spoonful]

Angela: Which is more holier, Thanksgiving or Christmas?

Felicity: Christmas, because Christmas is celebrated by Jesus and Thanksgiving is celebrated by pilgrims. Do you know what you’re asking, Angela? You’re asking who is more holier, Jesus or the pilgrims and Indians.

Angela: Oh.

[thoughtful pause]

Angela: Which is more holier, Christmas or Easter?

I watched this throwdown, and really enjoyed it. And, boy didn't that pecan pie look good with a drizzle of that syrup. So, are you saying it was as good as it looked ?!?

An outstanding follow-up question on Angela's part, I think! 🙂
