I’m Margaret in Minnesota, and this is my mom's-eye perspective of a kid-heavy life. I love the Lord; I take lots of photos; and I try to always tell it like it is, from sex to depression and everything in between! I hope you enjoy your time here. ♥

Hmm, I'm confused as to what the problem is here.
Did you have both hot cereal and scrambled eggs available?
If yes, then why can't a child have both? (Sounds good to me)
If no, then why did you offer the choice?

And my child responds, "Neither!"

My almost 9 year old usually opts for leftovers for breakfast…rice, beans and chicken is a favorite…at least she can get it for herslf…thank goodness for the microwave!

Sounds like my brother. After he's had breakfast the entire kitchen is destroyed. He eats everything, offered or not!

Sounds like my eldest. When asked what size smoothie she would like when out on a treat with Daddy, she replied: 'The largest one possible.'

Although extra work, I think I'd prefer that to "Neither." My kid ends up eating bread with ketchup many days for breakfast. blech.

And in the end, that's what they had.
Both.
It was a healthy breakfast, certainly, though this waitress should be getting tipped 20%!
